Here are some wine highlights. March is wine month in Washington State. In Seattle, restaurants, wine shops and tasting rooms celebrate the state’s wines throughout the month. This culminates in the four-day Taste Washington extravaganza, 22nd– 25th March in 2018, featuring top chefs and the region’s best winemakers. Menus revolve around the state’s signature ingredients.

Year round, Walter Clore Wine and Culinary Center, in Prosser serves as a central gathering place for industry and consumers to discover Washington wine and agriculture through engaging events and innovative programmes.  Right next door, Desert Wind Winery has some wonderful south western adobe style lodging.

Watersports and wine may seem unlikely bedfellows until you know about Lake Chelan, in Washington State – waterskiing, wakeboarding, boating, paddleboarding, and snorkeling are all possible right alongside Lake Chelan’s  American Viticultural Area (AVA), one of 14 in Washington State. AVAs are America’s equivalent to France’s Appelation Controllee.

But, if you want to windsurf and quaff wine (ideally not at the same time!) Columbia Gorge is THE place.

Cherry Wood Bed Breakfast and Barn in the Yakima Valley offers winery rides on horseback or via their “cowboy limo”.

For legal eagles, Barrister Winery is one of 16 on the Spokane wine and beer trailBarrister claims the unique distinction of a gentle vibration from 25,000 trains passing their downtown winery annually, which improves the flavour.

Washington Wine will embed holiday memories of people, passion, and pleasure for you or your clients. Don’t miss out!
