Don’t just dream of Bliss – book it!

Posted June 26th 2017 in Cruises, Latest News, News and Updates, Seattle,

The phenomenal success of cruising from the Port of Seattle, mostly to Alaska, continues this summer with over 200 scheduled departures, compared to 6 in 1999, representing a 15,600% in passenger numbers during the last 18 years. 120 years ago, 70% of the gold rush dreamers heading for the Klondike sailed from Seattle. Today, holidaymakers have a huge choice of ships, large and small, to replicate this epic sea voyage, but in sublime comfort and knowing that the quest for ultimate adventure on The Last Frontier will definitely be rewarded.

The Norwegian Bliss is now under construction in Germany where a keel laying ceremony took place in April. She will be ready for the 2018 summer season and will homeport at Pier 66 Seattle, in the heart of the City.  Now is the time to book, in order to be among the first to experience Bliss!

This summer, a new complimentary Port Valet service is offered by the Port of Seattle to cruise lines guests at Pier 91 that serves Carnival, Princess, Holland America, Celebrity and Royal Caribbean. The service enables cruise passengers who are taking domestic only USA flights after their cruise, to have their luggage sent from the ship to the airport, freeing them to explore Seattle, unencumbered by their hold bags.

They simply place their luggage outside their cabin door the night before disembarking their cruise ship in Seattle. Their luggage is then off loaded from the ship and delivered directly to Sea-Tac airport for security screening. Guests participating in the service also receive their boarding pass while still on board the cruise ship.
